The Seed
SouthNorths has a distinct focus on fashion to promote personality.
After going on a trip to Europe during a hot summer, with the sun beaming down on me, I went to search for a pair of sunglasses that suited me as an individual. However, I struggled to find something that met every one of my needs. I felt like I needed something built specially for me.
Idea
When I returned home, a lightbulb idea hit my brain. Why can't we make a pair of sunglasses that is built from interchangeable parts that can be customized to the needs of any customer? Don't like these lenses? Switch them out. Don't like the temples? Switch them out. Don't like the frames? Switch them out.
Voyage
I started a fashion company to better understand the industry, and along the way, built a lineup of accessories rooted in the same idea: pieces with personality. Today, SouthNorths carries Y2K-inspired fashion, chains, and skull cap beanies alongside our original interchangeable sunglasses, all designed for people who want their style to say something about who they are.
Present
After years of working on this interchangeable concept, I am excited to say that we have released our first design. Thank you for being part of this from the ground up.
